This course is split into bite size modules with a manual for each topic, plus 1 - full day in-person practical training and 1/2 day assessment period
There is no limit to the number of students doing this course as there is a good deal of distance learning to be done. However there is a limit to the number of students attending the workshops. Workshops will be held as and when there is a minimum of 2 students (maximum of 6) ready for the practical days. In-person assessment is carried out when the student has completed, and brings along treatment records of a set number of practical treatments plus the final Questionnaire (theory test sheet). This is usually after a period of 4 - 8 weeks. All the criteria required is assessed, and the student gives a Gua Sha facial massage treatment which is assessed by the tutor.
Zoom sessions may be included but this will not replace the in-person training required for this course.
The practical assessment takes place when the student feel ready, giving the student time to practice what they have learnt from workshop 1 and workshop 2.
Self directed learning - self-test quiz sheets are supplied along the way. These completed quiz sheets will help with the course/student final assessment Questionnaire along with the case studies and tutor assessed practical treatment.
Manual/Module CC1 - Matters of Law. This is the generic manual provided for all Connect2Reiki and The Gentle Touch Practitioner courses covering aspects of Health and Safety etc.
Manual/Module CC2 - A & P. Basic anatomy and physiology.
Manual/Module CC3 - Being a Professional Practitioner. This manual covers aspects of Practitioner standards, record keeping, risk assessment etc.
Manual/Module CC4 - Gua Sha Facial Massage - Crystals. This manual covers information on the crystals in your kit plus crystal compositions etc.
Manual/Module CC5 - Crystal Clear Skincare. Here we concentrate on aspects of skincare including skincare product information etc

Manual/Module CC6 - Gua Sha Facial Massage. This manual covers all aspects of facials
Tutor lead learning. This learning is carried out in The Manor Hall, Coalpit Heath, BS36 2TG, in accordance with any Government guidelines regarding COVID. There is a maximum of 6 students for a workshop.
Practical Workshop 1 - Morning
Manual/Module CC7 - Practical workshop 1. Here we learn about skincare, traditional rejuvenating face massage and using crystals as tools. The student is provided with a full natural skincare and Gua sha tool kit and practice all techniques on themselves.
Workbook CC9 - Practical Workshop 1. A workbook is provided covering the techniques given in CC7 with space for the student to add their own notes
Practical Workshop 2 - Afternoon
Manual/Module CC8 - Gua Sha Facial Massage - Practical. The student will initially practice techniques on themselves before then practicing on other, consenting, students. Strict hygiene will be in place.
Workbook CC10 - Practical Workshop 2. Again a workbook is provided as with workshop 1 but covering aspects from CC8

Course Application
The cost of the full course is £295 which includes workshops, assessments and Gua sha tools and skincare kit
A non-refundable deposit of £25 is required and on receipt of booking form and deposit Manual's CC 1 - CC 3 will be sent to get you on your way
When the course fee is paid in full ( a minimum of 1 week before Workshop 1) then the remaining manuals will be sent
On completion of course, and assessment (including Questionnaire and case studies) a Reiki Connection/Gentle Touch accredited Gua Sha Facial Practitioner Diploma will be issued
